Your First Lesson
Every journey begins with a single lesson.
Starting something new can feel exciting—and sometimes a little uncertain. We're here to guide you every step of the way so you know exactly what to expect before your child's first lesson.
Before You Arrive
Please bring:
Two towels
A dry diaper and change of clothes
A swim diaper
Any required medical information (some medications required poolside)
Arriving a few minutes early allows time to get settled before your lesson begins.
During the Lesson
Lessons are approximately 10 minutes and are always one-on-one.
Each lesson is individualized based on your child's age, developmental readiness, and progress. While every child is different, consistency is key to building lifelong skills.
What If My Child Cries?
It's completely normal.
Learning a new skill can be challenging, and some children express that through tears. As they gain confidence and understand what is being asked of them, most children become increasingly comfortable in the water.
Our approach is always thoughtful, patient, and individualized.
Parent Participation
Parents play an important role throughout the program.
You'll receive guidance, regular progress updates, weekly videos, and ongoing support so you always know what your child is learning and how to reinforce those skills.
