The ISR Difference
More than swim lessons.
Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) teaches infants and young children the skills to respond if they unexpectedly enter the water. Through private, one-on-one instruction, children learn age-appropriate survival skills designed to help them become safer and more confident around water.
Individualized Instruction
Every child is different.
Each lesson is tailored to your child's age, developmental readiness, temperament, and progress, allowing them to learn at their own pace.
Short, Focused Lessons
Lessons are approximately 10 minutes a day, five days a week.
Young children learn best through consistency and repetition. Short lessons help prevent fatigue while allowing children to build skills gradually over time.
Survival First
ISR lessons focus on self-rescue skills—not traditional swim strokes.
Depending on age and development, children learn to:
Roll onto their back to float and breathe.
Maintain a resting float.
Swim-float-swim until they reach safety.
Progress at Their Own Pace
Most children complete the program in approximately six weeks, though every child is different.
There is no predetermined graduation date. Instruction continues until each child has demonstrated the skills needed to complete the program successfully.
A Partnership with Parents
Parents are part of the journey.
You'll receive regular progress updates, guidance throughout the program, and the confidence of understanding exactly what your child is learning.
ISR is One Layer of Protection
ISR is not a substitute for adult supervision, pool barriers, or other water safety measures.
Instead, it adds another important layer to your family's overall water safety plan.
